Tolerance Foundation |
BEYOND PREJUDICE, on Thursday evening, March 25th at 7PM at the fellowship hall of the Unitarian Church, 5035 deMaisonneuve West (opposite the Vendome metro station). The Tolerance Foundation has developed programmes and materials which foster respect for diversity. Representatives of the Foundation will share their expertise with us, teaching us how to challenge the prejudices and stereotypes that infiltrate our society, our minds and our wellbeing. Please join us for this workshop, which is so relevant to our dialogue. |

BUDRUS |
Join us on Wednesday night, March 31st when film producer Ronit Avni will show clips from the award-winning film "Budrus".
The film, not yet released in Canada, chronicles the story of the West Bank town of Budrus and its grassroots, nonviolent, political mobilization, rerouting the Separation Wall.
This is a true story that challenges every stereotype in our current political vocabulary. Not to be missed! We will meet at the Westmount Y, 4585 Sherbrooke W. at 7PM. |

RHR Seder |
On Thursday evening, April 1st, at 6:30 PM, in the 6th floor dining room at 6767 Cotes des Neiges Community Centre, the Canadian Friends of Rabbis for Human Rights invites you to experience a traditional Passover Seder meal, with an emphasis on Human Rights. Wednesday night, April 14th, at 7:15, at the Westmount Y, 4585 Sherbrooke W. Eric Abitbol will lead conduct a Samoan Circle. The Samoan Circle is a conflict resolution exercise that enhances dialogue by changing its dynamic. Join us to experience a different way of speaking, listening and hearing each other.
