On Tuesday December 20, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Atwater library's auditorium, 2nd floor, 4023 Tupper Street entrance (just a block away from the Atwater metro station), we are pleased to invite you to a candid discussion with Ehab Lotayef on his recent experience aboard the Canadian boat Tahrir destined to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza, of the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Ehab Lotayef, a long-time social justice activist based in Montreal, was born in Cairo and moved to Canada in 1989. Ehab is an engineer, a photographer, a Juno Award-nominated songwriter, a playwright and a poet. His play Crossing Gibraltar was produced in 2005 by CBC Radio. A committed activist for the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, he makes frequent trips to the Middle East.
